Bank and Trading Holiday Extended in Argentina – H1N1 the culprit
In the midst of a health emergency due to the influenza A, the Argentine government has declared administrative leave for this upcoming Friday in an attempt to control the spread of the virus. This Thursday, July 9, is a national holiday, National Independence Day. which means there will be a five-day weekend.
The Argentine Central Bank (BCRA) has also declared leave for this upcoming Friday; therefore, there will not be any monetary transaction in banks. However, each bank will define tomorrow if they declare leave to their employees or if they will work with closed doors. If they decide to work with open doors, pensioners could get their payment.
The Government urged citizens not to travel so that the measure may benefit everyone.
