About Regina Phelps
Regina Phelps, RN, BSN, MPA, CEM is an internationally recognized expert in the field of emergency management and continuity planning. Since 1982, she has provided consultation and speaking services to clients in four continents. She is founder of Emergency Management & Safety Solutions (EMSS) a consulting company specializing in emergency management, pandemic and continuity planning.
Ms Phelps is the author of “Emergency Management Exercises: From Response to Recovery,” released by Chandi Media, December 2010. She designs 100 – 150 exercises per year for large, multinational firms. Ms. Phelps is a frequent top-rated speaker at well-known conferences such as the Disaster Recovery Journal, CP&M, International Association of Emergency Managers, and the World Conference on Disaster Management. She is frequently sought out as speaker for her common sense approach and clear, clean delivery of complex topics.
A partial list of clients include Liberty Mutual, Northern Trust, Macys Inc., VISA Inc., RIM, Triton Container, Duke University, Stanford University, Lam Research, MasterCard, Caltech Institute, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Social Security, American Express, IMF, International Paper and the World Bank.
